Robert Ardner

Robert W. Ardner,  87, of Syracuse, died Monday at Community General Hospital. He was predeceased by his wife of 52 years, Jane Elizabeth. He was a WWII Army Air Corps veteran and retired broadcast engineer, working for WAGE, WFBL, WHEN, and WTVH. He was a HAM radio operator and a member of RAGS, a member of St. Paul's United Methodist Church, and an avid bowler and golfer. Survived by two daughters, Janet (James) Hawley of Fulton and Barbara (Donald) Kowell of Syracuse; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and one niece. Services 10 a.m. Friday at the Butler-Badman Funeral Home, Inc., 4504 W. Seneca Tnpk., Onondaga Hill. Interment Onondaga Co. Veterans Cemetery.
